.tell me how to stay strong

I just got censured. I guess at least somewhere, somebody is reading my blog. And they thought it was too intense.

I'm going on hiatus. Thanks to the readers.

Good night, and good luck.

Dude.

Sorry, I wish I had something more supportive to add than that.

But seriously.

Dude.

PCV,

Honestly, if it's that bad, leave.

KG doesn't need people bad mouthing it on the internet. They have enough problems.

About a year after you've been back in the States (even if I have to wait until you're fifty for that to happen), I *am* going to ask you for a compare/contrast of affluent&imperial USA brand crazy vs. impoverished&victimized KG brand crazy. Just so you're warned.

@Jason, She's not bad-mouthing, she's just telling it how it is there for her. Crap happens. If you don't want to hear it, don't read. This is her blog and how dare they censure her - whether she agreed to it or not. She's not saying anything bad about the program, just about her experience. Intensity is a part of life and she shouldn't have to keep that quiet just because they can't deal with what she's going through.

@Laura (blogger, not commenter) *hug* I'm sorry that happened to you. I have enjoyed reading your blog and seriously thought about joining PC if my grad school opportunities didn't turn out or work out. The things you said and did made me want to go too and experience similar things. That they've censured you, however, has mostly changed my mind. If people can't deal with the reality of situations and honesty, then bugger them.
I wish you all the good luck and good will I can in regards to your housing situation and the time you have left in the country. I'm sorry this has happened to you. *hug!*

@Jason

Like anyone even knows where the hell Kyrgyztan is outside the fact that they keep sending Peace Corps there.

Somehow, I think whatever problems they have won't be fixed or maligned by a blog post. And if they are, well damn, they really got some issues.

Of course, I was planning a trip there, oh wait... No, no I wasn't.

Laura, I too wish I had something really supportive to say, but Emma's "Dude." seems to cover it pretty well.

I know you hate the idea of quitting, but, really, it just may not be the best place for you to be anymore.

Good luck. Email me if you get the chance, keep me updated. I worry about your crazy adventures.
